Baby Alpaca Bienville Crewneck Sweater

Baby Alpaca Bienville Crewneck Sweater

Color
  • Bienville sweater is Systéme De Valeurs' modern reinterpretation on the classic Aran sweater in classical tan and ivory baby alpaca fur. Featuring an iconic cable-knit detail on the side and open-weave at the shoulder for maximum mobility, this classic sweater is a staple item for colder weather. Pair with jeans, slacks, or silk slip dress underneath. The fit is slightly oversized for a cozy silhouette. Shop true to size.
  • 100% Eco-friendly & Organic Baby Alpaca Fur sourced from a specialized alpaca farm in Puño, Peru. Machine-knit in the Knitwear Factory in Brooklyn, New York City. The eco-friendly yarn is undyed and minimally treated without any harsh chemicals. Slight variance in the fiber colors is standard for this style, as it is the true color of our fuzzy alpaca friends. This sweater is hypoallergenic.
  • Bienville Sweater ships from Canada in 1-2 business days from order. We recommend a handwash in cold water and laying flat to dry.

Système de Valeurs

Based in Montreal, Canada, Systeme de Valeurs is a refined essential luxury knitwear brand started by Canadian fashion designer duo Lauren and Melanie.

Literally translated as "The Value System" in French, the duo named their company as a reminder to never stray away from their core value system of style, ethics and quality.

Baby Alpaca

Hypoallergenic. Undyed. 100% Organic & Eco-baby Alpaca sourced from Certified non-cruelty farm based in Puño, Peru.

Système De Valeurs sources best alpaca yarn from Peru, where the soft “baby” hairs from the alpaca’s undercoat are sheared and spun into the luxe yarns referred to as baby alpaca. Alpacas’ coats naturally come in a range of shades and the animals themselves have minimal impact on the land upon which they live, making them naturally sustainable.

Made in NYC

This family-owned factory operates with the state of the art facility, and highly trained technicians ensure that the pieces are crafted meticulously with the utmost quality.
